Boat Launch Annual Permit

This permit is valid for the calendar year. It is not transferrable and only applies to the trailer it is registered to. Permit valid at Balmy Beach Boat Launch and Big Bay Boat Launch. Make sure sticker is applied to a high visible location.

Online payments must be made with a credit card and a 3.5% administration fee will be applied to your total.

CONDITIONS

The Signatory Shall:

Maintain the security of the ramp area by locking the gate immediately following passing through, so that nounauthorized user may pass in.
Keep the site clean and tidy and safe by taking home with them everything they bring including garbage.
Be respectful of the residential area in close proximity by driving slowly and entering and leaving in a quiet manner.
Respect any no parking areas, such as in front of gates, launching area, and portable toilet.
Parking only one vehicle and one trailer at the site and in a manner such as to provide maximum parking and notblocking the ramp.
Not camp, or through any of their actions, allow others to camp within the facility.
Pay the fee for usage of the facility including deposit for a key at the time of signing the agreement and before issuanceof a key.
Not reproduce the key.
Acknowledge that this agreement is non-transferable and no refunds will be issued for partial use.
Save harmless and blameless the Township of Georgian Bluffs from any and all liability or responsibility for any and allactions by the Signatory with respect to the use of the boat launch.

PENALTY:

The penalty for non-compliance to any of the conditions set out in this agreement shall be cause for termination of this agreement and a ban from use of the facility for the balance of the current year and at least the year following.

The judgement for non-compliance of the conditions shall be solely at the discretion of the Council Members of the Township of Georgian Bluffs. Permission for reinstatement of use shall also be solely at their discretion.

TERMINATION OF AGREEMENT

This agreement shall terminate on October 31st of the year first above written. Key(s) shall be returned at the termination of this agreement.

I further agree:

1. TO ASSUME AND ACCEPT ALL RISKS arising out of, associated with, or related to my use of the Township of GeorgianBluffs’ Balmy Beach Boat Launch Facility.

2. TO BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INJURY, LOSS OR DAMAGE which I might sustain while using the Township’sboat launch facility.

3.TO HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFY the Township of Georgian Bluffs: a. From any and all liability for any damage to the personal property of, or personal injury to, any third party resulting from my use of the boat launch, dock, and marina; and b. From any and all claims, demands, actions, and costs which might arise out of my use of the boat launch.

A key will be issued for which a $10.00 refundable deposit is charged in addition to the fees above. Proof of address may be required to validate the application.

This permit is valid for 2025. It is not transferable and only applies to the trailer it is registered to. The permit is valid at Balmy Beach Boat Launch and Big Bay Boat Launch only. Make sure the sticker is displayed in a visible location on the boat trailer or on the vehicle dashboard.

By signing below I acknowledge that I have carefully read the terms and conditions and the Release of Liability contained on the reverse side of this form and that I fully understand the contents of this. I further confirm that I fully and willingly agree to these terms and conditions. I understand that in signing this Release of Liability I am knowingly and willingly agreeing to release the Township of Georgian Bluffs from any and all liabilities arising from my use of said boat launch areas, including any liability for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death caused by my use of these facilities.
